Austria’s capital community volunteers deliver fact-based drug education with young people across the city

VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, speaking with youth, families and educators through public information points and community events. The Vienna effort is led by Gabriele Toker, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide clear information on commonly abused substances, with particular attention to cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe.
